I looked forward to trying this after reading positive reviews but after opening and trying it neat I found it somewhat medicinal and overly bitter.The wine at its hearth comes from local Cortese grapes (same grape used for Gavi DOCG), which is then married with lemon peels and Piedmontese mint as well as botanicals such as wormwood, angelica, coriander and cardamom for a fragrant and perfectly balanced character. On the nose is characterized by scents reminiscent of mugwort, citrus, cinchona, cocoa, camphor and rosemary.
