This course is one of several that will help you meet the standards set down by the GMC for the role of an Educational Supervisor, covering domains 1-7. The course will include awareness and training using gold standard assessment measures and theoretical and practical training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). You should then meet at three months or midpoint for appraisal of objectives, and then at six months or in the last month of your post to complete the appraisal process and review training. GOSH DEN will allow us to provide staff with the appropriate tools and opportunities to develop themselves for the future.

Each SpR has an educational supervisor for the duration of their post, and a clinical supervisor in EACH intensive care area he or she rotates to. In her last role, she worked in healthcare education where she supported the management team of a specialist Clinical Skills Centre in all aspects of operational needs. She has experience of delivering simulation-based education and learning across multiple disciplines, facilitating clinicians in both face-to-face and online teaching, and in creating end-to-end training videos and eLearning using various forms of multi-media and learning technologies. GOSH has been granted a Manufacturer's Authorisation Licence for the manufacture of viral vectors, which will accelerate Cell and gene therapies (CGT) clinical trials worldwide and expand the novel treatments that we can offer to our patients. Once you have completed each course, print off a certificate and send this to Carol Parkes as evidence of completion.I am over the moon to have achieved both of those aims, and I can't wait for the Trust (and beyond) to access The Den.
